HGV Driver

SFT Transport Ltd are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Driver to join our transportation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations across Ireland. The role requires adherence to road safety regulations and company policies.

The ideal candidate:

• Must have over 1 years’ experience in similar role with established Irish logistics provider
• Full clean CE driver license
• CPC Card and up to date on all CPC Modules
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Manual Handling
• Fluent level of written and verbal English
• Exceptional knowledge of Irish road network
• Must be reliable and professional with a flexible attitude to work

Job Role:

• Safely operate and drive heavy goods vehicles (HGV) to transport goods to specified destinations in a timely and professional manner.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition.
• To maintain excellent levels of customer service.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is safely secured.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries.
• To ensure accurate, timely and professional communication with the Transport Team.
• Comply with all driving regulations and safety standards.
• Perform basis maintenance and cleaning of the vehicles as required.
