The Role

We are seeking an Assembler for a long-term opportunity based in Dublin 15, within a clean, secure, and modern manufacturing environment.

This role is ideal for practical, detail-focused candidates with experience in switchgear, control panel, or electrical assembly manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, wiring, and fitting low-voltage switchgear panels, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and the highest quality standards.

Pay rates starting at €15.15 per hour, rising to €18.15 depending on experience, plus overtime opportunities.

Pay Band – Assembler

* Band 1: €15.15 per hour

* Band 2: €16.65 per hour

* Band 3: €18.15 per hour

Overtime available, paid at 1.4× and 1.7× the hourly rate.

Key Responsibilities

* Build switchgear panels, enclosures, and sub-assemblies.

* Complete wiring, cabling, and installation of electrical components.

* Work from electrical drawings, schematics, and bills of materials.

* Run basic tests and visual inspections to ensure quality compliance.

* Flag faults, missing components, or discrepancies to the team.

* Use hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment safely and effectively.

* Liaise with production, engineering, and quality colleagues.

* Keep a tidy workstation and follow all Health & Safety and quality procedures.

Requirements

* Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (QQI Level 5 or 6, or a recognised equivalent).

* Previous experience in switchgear, control panel, or electrical assembly manufacturing.

* Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.

* Basic knowledge of electrical components and assembly processes.

* Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.

* Good awareness of workplace Health & Safety practices.

* Eligibility to work in Ireland.
