Contract: Full-time, One-Year Contract (to include weekend work)
Salary: €29,000 - €35,000

About the Role
Hearing Solutions specialises in the assessment and testing of young children’s hearing. Behavioural testing is carried out on children under the age of four with the support of a second tester whose role is to engage and distract the child during the assessment process.
The Assistant Audiologist will assist in interpreting behavioural responses and contribute to the management plan for each child. Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Audiologists during hearing assessments for young children
- Engage and support children during appointments to ensure a calm and relaxed environment
- Support communication between Audiologists and parents regarding test results and management plans
- Carry out administrative and clerical duties as required
- Contribute to the smooth running of appointments and clinical activities
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience working with children in a clinical, educational, or classroom setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well with young children and families
- Good organisational and clerical skills
- A caring, patient, and professional manner
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ideal Candidate
