The Post:
There is currently two permanent, whole-time vacancies available in Staff Bank Corporate Office.
Iveagh Building, Carrickmines Park, Carrickmines, Dublin 18. Foirgneamh Iveagh, Páirc Charraig Mhaighin, Carraig Mhaighin, Baile Átha Cliath 18.
A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Assistant Director of Nursing/Midwifery (ADON/M), Staff Bank in HSE Dublin and South East Region from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.
The Person:
This campaign is confined to staff who are currently employed by the HSE, TUSLA, other statutory health agencies*, or a body which provides services on behalf of the HSE under Section 38 of the Health Act 2004 as per Workplace Relations Commission agreement -161867
Candidates must have at the latest date of application:
1. Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc.
Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition:
(i) Are registered in the relevant division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI](Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann) or entitled to be so registered.
And
(ii) Have at least 5 years post registration full time (or an aggregate of 5 years post registration full time) experience of which 2 years (or an aggregate of 2 years post registration full time experience) must be in the speciality or related area.
And
(iii) Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
And
(iv) Candidates must demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development.
And
(b) Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability including a high standard of suitability and clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
Post Specific Requirements
• Demonstrate depth and breadth of senior nursing/midwifery management and leadership experience in managing supplementary staffing requirements
• Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in delivering programme(s) of change in workforce management in a complex multi stakeholder environment.
• Demonstrate significant Nursing/Midwifery and HCA HR and Workforce planning experience at senior management level, at a corporate level in a complex healthcare environment.
