Assistant Director of Nursing - ADON (non-band 1) – Full Time- Permanent

Applicants should:

· Registered on the Live Register in the General Division of the Register of Nurses as maintained by the NMBI

· Have a minimum of 7 years post registration experience in the acute hospital setting within the last 10 years with minimum of 4 years management experience at CNM II or higher.

· Hold a Healthcare or post graduate qualification level 8/9 in a healthcare or management related area

· Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.

· Candidates must demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development.

Desirable

· Level 8/9 nursing/healthcare management or leadership course or be willing to undertake same
