A permanent vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following post and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:-

Assistant Harbour Master
37 hours per week
Scale 5, SCP 14-19, £28,624 - £31,067 per annum
Location – The location of this post will be in Carrickfergus Marina, however the post holder will be required to work in any area of the Borough as the post dictates including Glenarm and Portglenone Marinas, Carnlough and Newferry.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Assist with the day-to-day operational management of the Marinas, Harbours, Rivers and Maritime areas. 
Ensure safe operations when berthing, mooring and securing craft.
Ensure a customer led approach whilst complying with Health & Safety guidelines, relevant legislation and procedures.
