About the Role

Broadline Recruiters are currently recruiting an experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager for a luxury hotel in Kilkenny. This is an excellent opportunity for a standards-driven accommodation professional to support the housekeeping operation within a high-quality hotel environment.

The successful candidate will have strong housekeeping experience, excellent attention to detail and the ability to support room standards, team performance and the overall guest experience.

Your Responsibilities

As Assistant Housekeeping Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Housekeeping Manager with daily accommodation operations

• Supervising room attendants, public area teams and housekeeping staff

• Conducting room, corridor and public area inspections

• Maintaining luxury cleanliness, presentation and guest-ready standards

• Supporting rosters, linen control, stock management and daily task allocation

• Training, motivating and supporting housekeeping team members

• Handling guest requests and feedback professionally

• Ensuring health, safety, hygiene and hotel procedures are followed

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, Accommodation Supervisor or Senior Housekeeping Supervisor

• Experience within a luxury hotel, 4-star or 5-star hotel environment is highly desirable

• Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness

• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills

• Ability to support, train and motivate a busy housekeeping team

• Professional, hands-on and standards-driven approach

• Flexibility to work weekends and busy hotel periods as required

Salary & Benefits

• Salary guide of €36,000–€38,000
