Assistant Restaurant Manager

The 4*Bridge House Hotel Tullamore is one of Ireland’s most popular landmark hotels and is centrally located in the thriving midlands town of Tullamore.

The Bridge House Hotel has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Restaurant Manager in their Balcone Restaurant to join their existing team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the consistent delivery of service to each and every guest and to ensure your team do likewise.
• To assist the Restaurant Manager in managing, training and developing the restaurant team, ensuring objectives are set and regularly monitored.
• To ensure that the hotel’s service values and core values are communicated to each team member.
• To ensure that areas of responsibility are clean and well maintained at all times.
• To ensure your team are well presented and that their demeanour is always professional and polite.
• To be a constant management presence within your department.
• To encourage upselling at every opportunity
• To provide support where necessary in other areas of the Hotel
• To ensure all cash, charge, float and till procedures are carried out in compliance with company policy and assist in ensuring all colleagues are trained.
• To assist in developing the product and service offering within our 4-star hotel.

The successful candidates must have previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a 4 star restaurant environment
