We're looking for an Assistant Retail Manager with strong leadership and a passion for delivering service excellence. Working alongside the Retail Services Manager, you'll oversee the village retail operation, while ensuring financial targets and operational standards are met.

• Assist in managing retail operations, including vending and warehouse services
• Achieve financial targets and ensure compliance with policies and legislation
• Lead and motivate the team to deliver excellent service

Your working hours

• Full-time contract, fully flexible
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 150 hours over a 4‑week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• This role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays

• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a busy retail environment
• Strong financial skills, including stock control, scheduling and wastage analysis
• Experience managing a large team within a large organisation
• Empathetic and supportive approach to leading a team
• Able to coach individuals to be accountable for their own performance
