Assistant Retail Shop Manager

We value our customers and strive to make every visit a pleasant one. We are recruiting a Sales Assistant Retail Shop Manager in our busy Mace Shop and Texaco Service Station.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a retail environment (convenience store, service station, or similar).
• Strong understanding of retail operations, customer service principles, and ideally, forecourt operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven staff management and leadership abilities.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a passion for retail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Cash handling experience and basic numeracy skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Food safety and hygiene knowledge (HACCP certification may be required, especially if the store has a significant food-to-go offering).
• Computer literacy and familiarity with till systems.
• Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and potentially early mornings.
