ASSISTANT SPA MANAGER - TREATMENTS | €17.59 Per Hour
Aqua Sana at Center Parcs provides the perfect Spa escape in a luxurious setting, with state of the art facilities, right in the heart of the forest. Utilising a range of industry leading products, as well as benefiting from innovative treatment partners such as and Elemis and Voya, it offers our guests a unique and extra special experience…and one which they’ll always remember.
As one of a small team of Assistant Managers, you’ll support and work under the direction of the Aqua Sana Spa Manager, ensuring everything is in place to make our guests feel genuinely welcome and ready to be indulged, confident we will deliver on our promise to refresh, relax and renew.
Acting as a Duty Manager and with specific responsibility for your own area of operation – Treatments, you’ll enjoy setting the standards for others to follow, delivering a service that consistently exceeds already high guest expectations. We’ll expect you to monitor both financial and staff performance, as well as manage the payroll within set budgets, whilst striving to maximise and develop all daily revenue opportunities.
This is without doubt an exciting opportunity to make your mark, which requires proven performers, with relevant management / supervisory experience in a Spa or Beauty setting, who can effectively lead, motivate and develop their own team. Alongside this, you should be a confident communicator, able to demonstrate a genuine customer focus and a real desire to deliver an unrivalled experience for your guests. In terms of back-office know how, we’re looking for a good knowledge of financial controls and computerised booking systems, whilst proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) would also prove advantageous.
Essential qualifications and experience:
- Level 6 Beauty qualification or equivalent
- Previous experience at management or supervisory level
- Good general standard of education
- Experience of financial controls and people management
- Ability to utilise excellent time management skills and use own initiative and team work.
- Outgoing nature, enjoys working with people
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Previous experience with spa/leisure booking system
- Confident and experienced with guest requirements
Due to the sensitive nature of this role the successful applicant will be required to apply for Garda Vetting. This disclosure, together with other selection information, will need to be satisfactory to the Company for employment to commence.
HOURS OF WORK
You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your hours and days of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. Shifts will fall between 7am and 10pm.
Your working hours will include evenings, weekends, public/bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis, with a premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday.
Aqua Sana Spa is proud to work with some of the most luxurious skincare brands available on the market, namely Elemis and VOYA. We will ensure your knowledge is up to date with regular training and beauty brand updates as well as additional wellness treatments.
We offer excellent beauty product commissions, free uniform including footwear, and your massage bookings will be restricted to 4.5 hours a day.
