Salary Scale: £44,792 to £49,550 per annum (under review)
​​​​Location: Hybrid (regular attendance is required at NIAO Belfast)
Contract: Permanent Full Time (37 hours per week). Applications welcome for part-time hours (minumum 30 hours per week).

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
At the closing date for applications, you will be required to demonstrate:

1. ​​​​​Have current membership of one of the institutes listed below; OR
That you are awaiting full membership of one of the institutes listed below; OR 
That you have passed final exams and be on track to meet the experience requirements within 6 months of your date of commencement, for one of the institutes listed below:

• - Chartered Accountants Ireland;
• - The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland;
• - The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales;
• - The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants;
• - The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants;
• - The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy;
• - The Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland.

2. Demonstrate at least 1 years’ experience in auditing financial statements.Please outline your role, the audit work performed and the dates the work was undertaken. This may include experience gained during a contracted training period.

3. Demonstrate how you have obtained knowledge of current auditing methodology and standards. Please include examples of applying this knowledge as far as possible.

4. Demonstrate how you have obtained knowledge of current accounting methodology and standards. Please include examples of applying this knowledge as far as possible.

5. H​​ave access to a form of transport that will enable you to meet the mobility needs of the post?
