Role Overview
The successful candidate will be working with a Biesse Rover 5 Axis CNC and will look after the programming, set up and general operation of the machine. This is an opportunity for a CNC Operator wanting to further develop their career with a forward-thinking company that prides itself in investing in people.

What you’ll do
The following reflect the main tasks associated with your position and are not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive:
- Programming and Operation of Biesse Rover 5 Axis CNC.
- Set up and operation of CNC machine to perform machining operations.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure quality production.
- Monitor and manage machine tooling to ensure quality production.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines.
- Collaborate with engineers to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Maintain documentation of CNC programs and machine settings.
As a 5 Axis Skilled CNC Operator your main skills and experience will include:
Essential Criteria
- Strong mathematical skills for performing basic calculations.
- Experience with Biesse B Solid or similar programming software.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools for machine setup and adjustment.
- Assembly knowledge of machined parts in carcasses, facade products, furniture, and interior joinery.
- Good communication skills to liaise with wider team of designers, drafts people and project managers.
- Attention to detail and problem solving to improve processes and efficiency.
- Experience with IMOS or Microvellum would be advantageous.
