Barista / All Rounder

This is a front-of-house coffee shop position where the successful candidate will be responsible for running the front counter independently.

The role includes:

• Welcoming customers and taking orders.
• Preparing and serving coffee, tea and other beverages.
• Operating coffee equipment and maintaining a high standard of drinks.
• Communicating and coordinating with the kitchen team to ensure orders are prepared and served smoothly.
• Keeping the front-of-house and coffee station clean and organised throughout the day.
• Reporting any defective equipment or utensils, work or floor surface issues, and any other Health & Safety concerns.
• End-of-day cleaning and closing duties.
• Preparing the coffee shop and work areas for the following day.

The Person

• EU/EEA work eligibility.
• At least 1 year of previous barista or café experience.
• Attention to detail in all aspects of the work.
• Enthusiastic and passionate about customer service.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and use your own initiative.
• Comfortable working alone and taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the front counter.
• Flexible with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Leads by example and lives our values.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills are required to understand safety and work instructions and communicate with customers on a day-to-day basis.

Working Hours

Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm
