This is a full-time 9-month contract as a “Bereavement Customer Service Advisor” with Bank of Ireland in Limerick, 9am-5pm.

Role

• Deliver a superior and empathetic service as befitting a service centre of excellence, to our bereaved customers and to representatives of our customers who have died, including solicitors, executors, administrators and branch personnel

• Taking ownership and Responsibility for resolution of customer issues

• Receiving inbound calls / call transfers from colleagues dealing with customers as well as from Solicitors

• Being able to empathise with the customer's circumstances whilst listening carefully to what the customer/representative needs.

• Ensuring that personal compliance with the Group, ROI Risk and Compliance policies, Regulatory requirements, and local business unit policies and controls is achieved through the day to day activities associated with this role.

• You will based in Limerick. You’ll be dealing with issues related to deceased customers, being the first point of contact for the family or solicitor.

• The working days and hours are from 9am to 5pm and the phone line hours are from 9.30am to 4.30pm.

• While you are an employee of Cpl’s you are managed day to day by Bank of Ireland and made to feel very much part of the team.

• Exceptional attention to detail is an essential requirement for this role. The successful candidate must be comfortable working within highly complex operational processes, where each case can be unique and requires careful assessment and judgement. The bereavement process involves navigating multiple banking systems, interpreting varied customer circumstances, and ensuring accurate execution of often intricate end-to-end processes. The ability to understand, manage and challenge detailed process requirements while maintaining a high level of accuracy is critical
