Purpose-led work you’ll be part of
This role is a permanent Bid Associate role within the Clients and Markets Business Development Department. Your role will have a direct impact on the quality of our Firms pursuits deliverables and outcomes. As a Business Development Bid Associate, you are part of a dynamic Pursuits Team and will be instrumental in driving best quality pursuit methodology implementation.
This role provides the opportunity to learn about the Firm and its various service lines and propositions. You will be exposed to a wide range of industries, clients and targets. Working alongside service line pursuit teams you will collaborate with all grades across the business. You will liaise and connect into our wider network, and you will manage our managed services support functions who design and produce pursuit deliverables.

Collaborate with senior team members to identify potential business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform pursuit strategies and decision-making.
Assist in the development and execution of compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate our value proposition.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of pursuit-related activities.
Maintain and update a comprehensive database of pursuits, leads, and client interactions.
Support in the cultivation and nurturing of relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
Track pursuit outcomes and provide analytics and insights to improve future performance.
Contribute to the development and refinement of BD processes and best practices within the department.
Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and strategy workshops to foster innovation and continuous improvement.
Experience and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred
Minimum 4yrs experience in business development, sales and pursuit management or a related role within a professional services firm is preferred.
Familiarity with the pursuits process and an understanding of industry best practices is advantageous
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and market trends to inform business strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive proposals.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
Strong organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, demonstrating resilience and resourcefulness.
A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
Demonstrated interest in business development and a passion for contributing to a purpose-led organisation.
Familiarity with graphic design principles and proficiency in PowerPoint is a plus; ability to create visually compelling presentations is desirable but not essential.
