Candidate Criteria:
Qualifications
· Leaving Certificate or equivalent
Candidate Requirmetns:
· Have a minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a finance function
· Have satisfactory relevant experience, which encompasses demonstrable equivalent skills
· ·Previous invoicing, billing or claims handling experience is preferred but not essential
· Have excellent interpersonal/communication skills
· Knowledge in relation to the management of Confidential Patient Information
· Demonstrate flexibility to work within a team, in a demand driven environment
· Have good IT skills
· Be willing to carry out specific tasks relevant to the role as assigned by the Site Lead - Revenue Cycle / Head of Finance
· To practice within and support the Bon Secours Mission and Values, policies, procedures, guidelines and new initiatives as directed / introduced by the hospital
The Purpose of This Role:
To be responsible for the accurate input of financial data into the accounting system with the purpose of producing correct invoices in line with the Health Insurance contracts to ensure timely payment of submitted claims. To work in accordance with the Hospital finance strategy and contribute towards achieving the agreed objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Input of debtor Invoices for allocated days into the company financial system.
· Following up with consultants/external billing companies for all professional invoices required to submit claims.
· Collation of claims to ensure timely processing of claims by the Health Insurance
· Companies
· Ensure that the agreed KPI’s are met
