A permanent vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following post and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:-

Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: Scale SO2, SCP 28-30, £39,152 - £40,777 per annum
Location: The location of the post will be confirmed upon appointment in one of three locations in the Borough: Larne; Carrickfergus or; Ballymena. However, requirements of the post may result in the postholder having to work in any of the town locations listed across Mid & East Antrim Borough.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Support the successful delivery and day-to-day management of all activities taking place within The Braid as a multi-purpose venue, liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Activities within the Braid include but are not limited to theatre performances, conferences and meetings (including the provision of catering), Council events, museum, heritage and arts exhibitions.
Have a customer-focused approach, implementing sound management processes and ensuring the highest standards of health and safety, cleanliness, and customer care are maintained within The Braid.
Support the front of house team to create a welcoming environment and deliver excellent customer service to all visitors. On a shift basis, be visible throughout The Braid, be responsible for front-line management, supervision and motivation of all staff, and provide the necessary planning, organisation and direction of operational tasks to enable the smooth operation of the facility.
