Principle Objective

The Branch Administrator will provide efficient and accurate administrative support to the Branch Manager and branch team, ensuring high standards of customer service and operational excellence in line with Chadwicks Group policies. This role includes responsibility for key financial and administrative processes within the branch.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Excellent written and numerical skills
  • Previous administration experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of accounting
  • Strong IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Health and Safety compliance experience
  • Commercial awareness and numeracy skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient and accurate administrative support to the branch, including all paperwork, filing, scanning, etc.
  • Supporting counter sales as necessary.
  • Manage daily cash office operations: cashing up, end-of-day cash counts, lodgements, floats, petty cash, and admin related to cash management
  • Oversee booking in of goods, supplier invoice queries, review of purchase orders (partial/cancelled), and e-procurement processes
  • Maintain branch records for time & attendance, absence management, training, maintenance accounts, and stationary.
  • Support stock management, margin reviews, and aged stock oversight.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service, health & safety compliance, and shop floor presentation.
  • Build strong customer relationships and work closely with branch and sales teams.
  • Implement company policies, safeguard company property, and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.

Contract Type

  • Permanent
  • Full time 39-hour contract
  • Working week Monday to Friday
