Breast Health Co-ordinator, CNM Grade

Job Summary:

The post holder will ensure all patients referred by a GP to the Breast Health Unit are triaged and those requiring access to the Triple Assessment Clinic are able to do so in conformance with the National Assurance Standards for Symptomatic Breast Disease. The post holder will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team and will have the necessary skills to holistically address the needs of the patients referred to the Breast Health Unit. Vision, innovation, flexibility, good communication and managerial skills are essential to the successful carrying out of this job. The post holder will apply evidence-based practice, act as a patient advocate, provide health promotion and education to patients their families and staff.
