Building Regulation Technician

 

A permanent vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following post and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:-

Building Regulation Technician
37 hours per week
Scale SO1, SCP 25-27, £33,945 - £35,745 per annum

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Work as part of the Building Control Section to fulfil the Council’s statutory duties regarding the administration and enforcement of Building Regulations and allied legislation in relation to:-

• Postal addresses and development naming
• Building notice, domestic regularisation and property certificate applications
• Vacant property inspections
• Energy Performance of Buildings (EPB) legislation.

PLEASE NOTE: Only application forms containing all the information, which has been sought, will be considered.

It is the applicant’s responsibility to provide sufficient relevant information including dates in this section of the form for each criteria.
