JOB PURPOSE:
The Bushcraft Instructor will be responsible for the delivery of a wide range of outdoor pursuit’s activity sessions, Bushcraft courses, and wilderness expeditions and will also be required to lead groups on overnight courses, act as a guardian and cook meals ensuring the required standard of food hygiene and all participations nutritional needs are covered.
The post holder will supervise and effectively utilise staff, casual workers and trainee placements ensuring all health and safety requirements are fulfilled.
The Bushcraft Instructor will support the NR Project Officer in maintaining a high quality of service, encouraging greater enjoyment and participation in Bushcraft and outdoor leisure activities while bringing new innovative ideas to all courses and act as Duty Officer, as and when required.
