As a Business Analyst your role involves turning business requirements into effective data and analytics requirements, making complex data more accessible and understandable, and transforming, improving, and integrating data based on business requirements. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, data analysts, or other technical data teams and non-technical stakeholders across the bank's business units, facilitating collaboration and ensuring that data-driven solutions are understandable and effectively implemented across the organisation.

You will contribute to the creation and maintenance of the data product backlog and assist in the development of the product plan to measure progress. Your role will involve collaborating with Analytics Business Partnering Leadership to ensure that data-driven insights are effectively integrated into business strategies

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business units to support the identification of data & analytics product needs and opportunities.
• Translates business requirements and needs into analytics/reporting/data requirements for technical teams (e.g. Data product needs, Analytics or modelling use case details, User stories, Metrics definition or business rules)
• Liaise between the CDAO teams and business stakeholders to ensure mutual understanding and alignment of objectives.
• Guide the development of data product solutions that address specific business challenges with relevant support from the team¿s project managers and guided by the bank¿s business and data strategy.
• Act as translator between technical teams within the CDAO and wider business units such that data terminology and business acumen can find common ground, ensuring alignment between business requirements and the technical delivery.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience gathering and interpreting business requirements, developing technical requirements and specifications, and understanding Lean Six Sigma and Business Process Modelling and Notation.
• Strong understanding of data & analytics concepts and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

This is a permanent role based in Dublin or Cork. (Hybrid option available within Republic of Ireland)
