As a Business Analyst within the Digital Identity Management domain at PTSB, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery and optimisation of digital identity solutions, including Identity Verification (ID&V) and the EU Digital ID initiative. Reporting to the Product Owner for Digital Identity Management, you will collaborate across business, risk, compliance, and technology teams to gather requirements, analyse processes, and ensure solutions meet business needs, regulatory standards, and customer expectations.

  • Support the development and enhancement of digital identity capabilities across customer journeys.
  • Ensure business requirements are clearly defined, documented, and translated into effective product and operational solutions.
  • Contribute to the successful rollout and integration of ID&V and EU Digital ID frameworks.
  • Facilitate collaboration between business, risk, compliance, and technology teams to ensure alignment and delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements for digital identity solutions.
  • Analyse current processes and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and enhanced customer experience
  • Create detailed process maps, user stories, and functional specifications to support solution design and development.
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with internal teams (Operations, Compliance, IT, Risk) to ensure alignment on requirements and priorities.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure shared understanding and smooth delivery.
  • Support the development of test plans and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Ensure feedback is captured and incorporated into solution refinements.
  • Ensure business requirements and processes align with regulatory obligations including GDPR, EBA guidelines, and EU Digital ID standards.
  • Collaborate with Risk Analysts to assess and mitigate potential risks associated with digital identity processes.
  • Monitor solution performance and user feedback to identify areas for enhancement.
  • Support the development of reporting and analytics to track KPIs and inform decision-making

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within financial services or digital transformation programmes. 
  • Proven experience driving business design and discovery workshops 
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills. 
  • Strong understanding of digital identity, customer onboarding, and regulatory compliance. 
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills. 
  • Experience with process mapping tools and agile delivery methodologies. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and manage multiple priorities. 
  • Familiarity with ID&V technologies and EU Digital ID frameworks is an advantage.

This is a Permanent position based onsite in PTSB head office, St. Stephens Green Co. Dublin, Ireland.
