About the Role:
This role sits within the Enterprise Architecture & Design team which leads the development and governance of the bank’s business architecture, ensuring alignment between strategic objectives, regulatory obligations, and operating models. You will be expected to collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate business vision into coherent capability maps, processes, and operating models. The team drives enterprise-wide consistency and transformation by applying TOGAF-aligned methods to guide change initiatives and optimise business performance. This role requires both technical & business expertise, analysing business strategy to design future state business architecture models which drive the data and technology architecture models.
Key accountabilities:
- Develop business requirements that translate business strategy into business & technology blueprints, bringing end-to-end thinking to align business processes, technology, data and people.
- Collaborate effectively with group wide stakeholders to document current state “As Is” and design the target “To Be” business processes, operating model and organisation blueprints.
- Develop data led evidence to underpin design decisions
- Identify opportunities to use digital, technology & data capabilities to remove business and technology friction, cost and complexity.
- Act as a trusted advisor to programmes and tribes and actively manage design and solution issues that may arise through change lifecycle.
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to design, promote & implement Group transformation.
What you Will Bring:
- A motivated self-starter, with a minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst / Business Architect, with exposure to different roles.
- Third level degree, preferably in a system analysis & design, technology or engineering discipline.
- TOGAF architecture qualification an advantage but not essential.
- LeanIX experience would be an advantage but not essential.
- Broad technical aptitude, with experience breaking down business requirements and working with organisation stakeholders to translate these into technical and business components and capabilities.
- Problem solving and analytical thinking to understand issues and recommend solutions.
- A proven team player, building trust with colleagues, sharing knowledge and seeking opportunities for cross functional collaboration. Experience in leading and coaching staff.
