Business Banking is currently seeking a Business Banking Specialist on the Central Fulfilment Teams.
Business Banking Central Teams support the business lending activities of regional teams and branches. Key activities include financial statement extracts, credit assessment reports, credit facility agreements, drawdown checklists and credit facility reviews. Related activities include the active engagement of customers, colleagues and professional firms, and the control of operational risks.
As a specialist, you will report to a manager and manage a team of supports. Your internal stakeholders will include regional lending teams, retail branches, retail credit, mortgage operations and the legal function. Your external stakeholders will include borrowers and professional service firms. Your stakeholder engagements will always seek to enhance our customer value proposition.
A core function of the Central Fulfilment Team is to prepare credit facility agreements and manage the satisfaction of pre-conditions by business borrowers and professional firms.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and developing business supports.
- Setting clear objectives and reviewing performance.
- Managing efficient and effective operating procedures.
- Analysing the financial statements of business customers.
- Assessing business lending applications and supporting documents.
- Preparing credit facility agreements and related security documents.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of SME lending products, markets, and regulations.
- Experienced in credit assessment, including financial analysis.
- Experienced in credit documentation, including security for advances.
- Experienced in credit monitoring, including remediation activities.
- Skilled in people management and stakeholder engagement.
- Skilled in risk identification, assessment, and management.
This is a permanent role based in Dublin (Hybrid).
