The Business Manager will play a key role in supporting the Heads of Community Integration and Specialist Services to deliver safe, effective, and efficient services. The post holder will provide strategic and operational business support across financial management, performance monitoring, governance, and service planning.
The role focuses on strengthening the infrastructure that underpins service delivery, ensuring that systems, resources, and processes are aligned to meet service demands, national targets, and organisational priorities. By providing robust analysis, oversight, and coordination, the Business Manager will enable senior leaders and multidisciplinary teams to focus on delivering high-quality services.
The Business Manager will actively promote and support the organisation’s values in all aspects of their work, ensuring these are reflected in decision-making, collaboration, and service development. The role also requires a proactive approach to leading and supporting change, driving continuous improvement initiatives and helping to embed new ways of working to enhance service delivery and outcomes.
Essential requirements are:
· A relevant qualification in healthcare management, business administration, or a related discipline.
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in healthcare or social care, with responsibility for service management, departmental planning, and the effective management of staff and resources
· An in-depth understanding of the implementation and application of PDS and Enhanced Complex Care Provision
· Demonstrable experience in promoting quality improvement initiatives.
· Excellent organisational skills with an attention to detail and ability to prioritise and handle complex situations
· Excellent communication skills
· Demonstrated ability to analyse data, generate reports, and use information to support service planning and decision-making.
· A strong understanding of clinical governance, data protection (GDPR), and the importance of confidentiality in a healthcare setting.
