Business Manager Mental Health

There is currently one permanent whole-time vacancy available in the Cavan Monaghan service. The location of this post will be in the Cavan Monaghan Mental Health Services (CMMHS) (Location TBC).
A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.

Purpose of the post:
This position occupies a pivotal role within the local Integrated Healthcare Area Organisational structure and in supporting the Head of Service / General Manager and CM Area Management team. The role will be responsible, under the direction of the Head of Service / General Manager, for providing a business management support function to Cavan Monaghan Mental Health Services.
The CMMHS Business Manager will take a proactive role in supporting the work of the business management function, planning and performance function and managing the day to day operation.The role will evolve as the structures within the IHA are further developed and established.

Qualification and /or experience:
Candidates must have at the latest date of application:
Qualification Criteria:
Have a minimum Level 8 qualification on the National Framework of Qualifications in Ireland (or equivalent in another jurisdiction) in a relevant discipline
Experience:
· Experience at a management/leadership/senior clinical level in the Health Services and Personal Social Services Area, as relevant to this role
· Demonstrate a track record of delivering significant change in a complex multi stakeholder environment, as relevant to this role
· Demonstrate experience of managing and working collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders, as relevant to the role
· Demonstrate capacity to achieve results through multi-disciplinary and cross sectoral working
· Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability)for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
Health
A candidate for and any person holding the office must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.
Character
Each candidate for and any person holding the office must be of good character.
Post Specific Requirements:
Demonstrate particular experience deemed necessary for safe and effective performance in the role:
• depth and breadth of experience in providing a service to marginalised communities.
• depth and breadth of experience of working in a High Dependency Unit in an Acute setting.
• depth and breadth of experience of delivering concurrent, multiple projects.
Other requirements specific to the post:
Access to appropriate transport to fulfil the requirements of the role.
