MGT Foods Ltd is seeking to recruit a Business & Marketing Operations Manager for its KFC restaurant in Carrickmines, Dublin 18.

This is a full-time, permanent position, offering 39 hours per week with an annual salary of €37,000.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing the business and marketing operations of the restaurant to ensure operational efficiency, commercial growth, increased sales performance and compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate and oversee the day-to-day business and operational activities of the restaurant to ensure operational efficiency and achievement of commercial objectives.

• Analyse KPIs, customer trends and sales data to identify opportunities to improve operational performance, customer satisfaction and profitability.

• Develop and implement local marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns and community engagement activities to increase customer traffic and revenue.

• Monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns through sales analysis, customer feedback and business performance reports.

• Manage departmental budgets and monitor financial performance to ensure business objectives and profitability targets are achieved.

• Prepare operational reports, business forecasts and performance analyses, making recommendations to improve efficiency and commercial performance.

• Monitor labour costs, purchasing activities, stock control and inventory management to maximise efficiency and minimise waste.

• Develop, review and maintain standard operating procedures to improve operational consistency, productivity and service quality.

• Support workforce planning, staff scheduling and resource allocation to ensure efficient business operations.

• Coordinate operational projects and assist with the implementation of new business initiatives, marketing campaigns and process improvements.

• Ensure compliance with HACCP requirements, food safety legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.

• Lead, mentor and develop staff to achieve operational excellence, customer service standards and commercial objectives.

• Monitor competitor activity and local market trends and recommend strategies to strengthen the restaurant's market position.

Requirements

Applicants should possess a degree in Business Management, Marketing, Operations Management, Strategic Management or a related discipline, or demonstrate equivalent relevant experience in business operations and commercial performance management.

The successful candidate should demonstrate:

• Experience in business operations, operational planning and performance management.

• Experience in marketing, sales analysis, promotional campaigns or business development.

• Strong analytical, organisational and leadership skills.

• Experience in KPI analysis, budgeting, financial performance management, cost control and process improvement.

• Knowledge of local marketing strategies, customer engagement and revenue growth initiatives.

• Knowledge of procurement, inventory management, workforce planning and operational reporting.

• Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, health and safety legislation and regulatory compliance.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.

• The ability to analyse business data and implement operational and marketing strategies in a fast-paced commercial environment.
