Business Reporting Administrator
Main Purpose of Job:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Business Reporting Administrator to join the Connolly Motor Group.
The role:
The successful candidate will have responsibility for multiple reporting entities, and the role will provide an excellent development opportunity for the right candidate.The role is office-based at our Ballina, Galway or Sligo sites, depending on the successful candidate’s location. It will require travel between sites on a monthly basis.
Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Regional Financial Controllers you will:
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports, budgets and forecasts at site and Group level on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Work closely with all departments, using the financial information provided, to analyse past and current performance and identify improvement areas
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of data for reporting and analysis, by critically evaluating key business metrics and trends
- Build and maintain sound and reliable business relationships across the organization
- Perform ad hoc operational duties, including stock takes and till reconciliations, to support the wider business
- Travelling across sites will be required
The person:
Skills and Competencies:
- Experience in a financial, commercial administration, or reporting role would be an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly when working closely with non-financial teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent numeracy skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to be part of multiple business projects, while sustaining core objectives
- Motivated and proactive with a solution focused approach and good time management
- Full driving licence essential
