Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, creative thinker to join our team and help convert business requirements into innovative technical solutions. Working with the Senior Systems Analyst in our complex and fast paced environment, this role will be responsible for the design and delivery of Tirlán’s internally developed applications that manage our 3 billion litre/year milk pool. The role will interact with all areas and levels of the business from Finance to Manufacturing, Quality to Transport and will have a key role in the stewardship of our important data asset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to establish systems requirements
  • Compile technical specifications for system solutions to meet Tirlán’s business requirements
  • Support the Senior Systems Analyst in identifying areas of improvement and opportunities to add value to the business through technology
  • Participant in projects to enhance the internally developed platforms
  • Liaise with Group IT Development to ensure developments are designed and delivered to the required standards.
  • Provide support to ensure the robustness and agility of the data model for our Farmer Customer and Supplier information is maintained when defining any system enhancements
  • Liaise with technical support team to ensure necessary infrastructure changes that may be required to facilitate system development / changes are considered.
  • Provide assistance in scenario testing all system developments before handing over to the business for user acceptance testing.
  • Ensure systems are developed to the relevant Tirlán and industry standards

Key Requirements:

  • Relevant 3rd level qualification
  • 4+ years’ relevant experience in a similar role
  • Experience working in a fast paced development environment
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders and build strong professional working relationships
  • Willingness to learn, understand and support new applications
  • Self-motivated and results focused
