Avoca are looking for an administrator to join the food team. The ideal candidate will have a strong record in administration, excellent Microsoft office skills particularly Excel, and be confident in a fast-paced environment. Experience in similar role and interest in retail and food beneficial. Being immediately available is essential as this role is likely to be filled ASAP.
Key Responsibilities
· Supporting the buying team with administration and reporting across categories
· New products: managing new product and new supplier set ups
· Menus: support and administration on new menus and changes
· Range reviews: support on reporting, data analysis and data management.
· Forecasting: sales forecasting on promotions, new products, seasonal – tracking and reporting
· Reporting: production of reports for reviews, meetings etc
· Pricing: managing price lists, administration and pricing process across categories
· Hamper and Seasonal range administration
· Online product range administration
· Liaise with marketing, finance and operations day to day and on key process
· Support on new product development and ad hoc projects
The successful candidate will have/be:
· Strong MS Office skills including Excel and excellent numerical ability.
· Excellent time-management skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise projects and meet deadlines.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Team player, with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently.
· Strong commercial acumen and proven analytical skills.
