Our Capital Markets Graduate Programme offers the opportunity to develop commercial, analytical and relationship management skills while working alongside experienced professionals supporting corporate, institutional and private banking customers across Ireland and internationally.

What You’ll Do 

Capital Markets serves AIB's large and medium-sized business customers as well as our private banking customers. We take a partnership approach, delivering customer-focused financing solutions and specialised products that help businesses grow, invest and achieve their ambitions. 

As a Capital Markets Graduate, you'll contribute to financing solutions that help businesses expand, invest, create jobs and transition to a more sustainable future. You'll gain exposure to complex transactions and strategic client relationships from the very beginning of your career. 

You will; 

• Support the assessment of lending and financing opportunities 

• Analyse financial information and market trends 

• Assist with customer relationship management and business development activities 

• Contribute to credit and risk assessment processes 

• Support transactions across a range of industries and sectors 

• Work with colleagues across lending, product, portfolio and customer teams 

• Rotational opportunities to help you discover your preferred business interest across our teams of: 

• Corporate Banking 

• Real Estate Finance 

• Climate & Infrastructure Capital 

• Syndicated & International Finance 

• Private Banking 

• Business Banking 

• Commercial Finance

Entry Requirements: 

• Achieved or expected to achieve a minimum 2.1 Honours Degree (or equivalent for universities outside of Ireland) 

• Fully authorised to work in Ireland or hold a valid work permit for the full duration of the 23‑month contract (September 2027 – August 2029)
