Car Valetor/General Operative

Volkswagen are recruiting a Car Valetor/General Operative to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Preparing cars for hand over to sales and aftersales customers
• Washing and cleaning vehicles using specialized tools, cleaning agents, and techniques to ensure a thorough cleaning
• Polishing and waxing the exterior of vehicles to restore shine and protect the paint
• Vacuuming and detailing the interior of vehicles, including the upholstery, carpets, and dashboard
• Cleaning and shining wheels, tires, and rims
• Inspect vehicles with sales/service person prior to customer handover
• Maintaining a clean showroom, garage and yard in the dealership
• To maintain the vehicle display areas in a clean and tidy condition and report defects
• Maintenance of forecourt and rear yard

Ideal Candidate

• Full clean driver’s licence is essential
• Team player
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a face paced and busy environment
• Have excellent attention to detail
