Cardiac Physiologist, Senior, University Hospital

The Senior Cardiac Physiologist has a key role to play in the management and support of a high quality Cardiac Diagnostic Service.

UHK is implementing strategic service plans focused on:

• Reducing outpatient waiting times
• Providing timely access to specialist cardiology services and opinions
• Developing early intervention pathways and rapid access clinics for acute, chronic, and newly presenting cardiovascular conditions

Desirable

· Proficient in interrogation and reporting of Pacemakers/ICD/CRT/ILR devices, successful applicant(s) must hold current BHRS IBHRE or equivalent certification or have successfully passed theory exam and be in the process of completing log book.

Proficient in Adult Transthoracic Echo and reporting to BSE standard or equivalent, accreditation is desirable or successful candidate(s) will be expected with departmental support, to undertake echocardiography accreditation
