CARE ASSISTANT

ST VINCENTS SERVICES, LIMERICK

PERMANENT FULL-TIME CONTRACT (39 Hours Per Week),

PERMANENT PART -TIME CONTRACT (35 Hours Per Week),

PERMANENT PART -TIME CONTRACT (30 Hours Per Week) &

RELIEF CONTRACTS

Salary: €33,699-€46,984* (lsi)

*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.

Essential:

• Minimum of Fully Completed FETAC/QQI level 5 in Healthcare qualification or (higher) equivalent comparable qualification.
• Full clean manual Irish driving licence.

· Experience of working with Adults with Autism and/or Intellectual disabilities with complex and stress behaviours.

Desirable:

• Desire to support individuals to live their best lives and commitment to promoting the active engagement and participation of individuals in their local communities.
• Willingness to support persons to develop skills and competencies around identified areas of interest and learning.
• Applicants should possess Level 1 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework.
