General Duties:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and respectful transport for service users while also receiving training in person-centred support and assisting service users in their daily routines as part of our care team.

Key Aspects of the Role:

• Safely transporting service users to and from appointments, community activities, and social outings.
• Building positive, respectful relationships with service users and promoting their independence.
• Participating in training to understand the needs of people with disabilities and to develop caring and supportive skills.
• Working collaboratively with the wider care team to ensure a high standard of service and wellbeing for all residents.

Requirements:

• Full clean driving licence (D or D1 category preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A caring and patient attitude with a commitment to supporting others.
• Willingness to complete training in disability awareness and person-centred care.
• Must be eligible to live and work in Ireland.
