Avista provide Residential and Day Services to people with an Intellectual Disability. Applications are being sought from candidates for St Vincents Community Houses. We are looking for candidates who are committed to supporting people with disabilities and their families, in a person centred, community based, socially inclusive manner in accordance with our core values and ethos and underpinned by quality, best practice and research.

Applicants should have:

• FETAC level 5 qualification Or Fully Completed QQ I level 5 in Health /Social Care.- Essential

• Full Clean Driving License for Manual Vehicle - Essential,

• Previous experience working with individuals with Disability and complex needs,

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills

• The ability to effectively manage their time; work on their own initiative and as part of a team.

• Ability to work effectively with families

• The ability to be flexible and creative.
