We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join our team based at South East Technology University, Carlow. This is a great opportunity to join a world leading facilities management company.

Working Pattern:

• 15 hours per week
• 4 out of 7 days with shifts between 07:00am - 19:00pm

Role:

• Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs where required
• Recording water temperatures and running of water for legionella recording
• Reporting Maintenance issues, damage, hazards,or faults to appropriate Manager
• Assisting staff and contracters with general tasks
• Taking meter readings on weekly basis for estates department
• Checl lighting, doors, fixtures ,fittings and other facilities and report issues
• Dispose of rubbish and recycling safetly and appropriately.
• Locking and opening , and alarming buildings when required (training will be provided)
• Follow all health and safety procedures and report hazards promptly
• Covering portering annual leave and sick leave where required
• Previous experience in maintannce, portering is an advantage
