APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION:
CARETAKERS
ST VINCENTS , LIMERICK
PERMANENT FULL-TIME CONTRACT (39 Hours Per Week).
Salary:€35,195-€42,723
*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience.
Essential:
· Previous experience in at least one of the following sectors; Construction, Landscaping or Building Maintenance
· Be a good communicator and exhibit these skills with all Avista Staff, including Staff Nurses, Care Staff and Management, always treating everyone with politeness and respect
· Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a maintenance team
· Possess a full clean manual category B driver’s license
· Good knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety obligations
· Use company phone and assigned email
· Be willing to partake in Continuous Professional Development and undertake training as required
Desirable:
· Experience in healthcare maintenance an advantage
· Previous experience of working with Construction/Landscaping Machinery
· Knowledge of machinery mechanics
· Basic I.T. skills such as emailing preferable
· Training and certification in Solas Safe Pass desirable
**Applicants should possess Level 1 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework.
