Casual Box Office Attendant

The Market Place Theatre & Arts Centre is one of the Council’s flagship cultural venues. The venue has a 393-seat auditorium, 100-seat studio theatre, 2 exhibition spaces and a number of multi-purpose workshop rooms. The centre attracts over 50,000 people to performances and participative workshops each year.

As Casual Box Office Attendant, act as a first point of contact for Council, responding to customer enquiries by establishing facts and requirements and by providing high quality advice and information ensuring that the customer’s needs are met, or they are signposted to the correct service area in an effective and courteous manner.

The postholder will be involved in assisting with the smooth running of a busy theatre box office, including operating the theatre’s ticketing system, providing excellent customer care and financial elements.
