Catering Assistant

Beechfield Care Group are currently looking to recruit a Part-Time Catering Assistant at Beech Park Nursing Home, Dunmurry East, Kildare R51 PC58. This is a specific-purpose contract with the potential to become a permanent position.

This vacancy is urgent, so all candidates must already be in the country. We don't sponsor work permits for this position.

About the Role

The role requires the holder to be continuously vigilant towards the dignity, comfort, and safety of residents in the nursing home.

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of meals and beverages for residents and staff to the required company standards of hygiene.

• Prepare resident trays and dining areas, ensuring that the necessary equipment, utensils, and food are available in the required quantities and at the required time.

• Clear and clean the kitchen, dining areas, and catering utensils using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment as directed by the Head Chef/Director of Nursing.

• Any other duties as required.

• Continuously adhere to all hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
