Catering Assistant

Beechfield Care Group are currently looking to recruit a Catering Assistant at Woodlands House Nursing Home, Dillons Land, Trim Road, Navan, C15 V585.

About Woodlands

Woodlands House was built in 1917 in the Georgian style and originally served the needs of the local Church of Ireland clergy as a rectory for the Canon. The building has run as a Nursing Home since the early 1980s. At Woodlands House we believe in respecting the privacy of our residents while catering for their specific needs. This underpins our core philosophy of caring for each resident as a unique individual.

About the Role

The role requires the holder to be continuously vigilant towards the dignity, comfort, and safety of residents in the nursing home.

Role Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of meals and beverages for residents and staff to the required company standards of hygiene

• Prepare resident trays and dining areas, ensuring that the necessary equipment, utensils, and food are available in the required quantities and at the required time

• Clear and clean kitchen, dining areas, and catering utensils using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment as directed by the Head Chef / Director of Nursing

• Carry out any other duties as required

• Continuously adhere to all hygiene, health, and safety regulations
