Catering Assistant

Beechfield Care Group is currently seeking a Catering Assistant at Woodlands House Nursing Home, Dillons Land, Trim Road, Navan C15 V585.

Woodlands House was built in 1917 in the Georgian style and originally served as a rectory for the local Church of Ireland clergy. Since the early 1980s, it has operated as a nursing home. At Woodlands, we respect the privacy of our residents while catering to their individual needs, a philosophy that underpins our belief in caring for each resident as a unique individual.

The Catering Assistant will be responsible for maintaining vigilance towards the dignity, comfort, and safety of residents at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of meals and beverages for residents and staff, ensuring compliance with company hygiene standards.

• Prepare resident trays and dining areas, ensuring all necessary equipment, utensils, and food are available in the correct quantities and on time.

• Clear and clean kitchens, dining areas, and catering utensils using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment, as directed by the Head Chef or Director of Nursing.

• Perform any other duties as required.

• Adhere to all hygiene, health, and safety regulations at all times.
