Catering Assistant

The role

The primary role of the Catering Assistant is to provide for the catering requirements of the service users, staff and visitors of the hospital in a professional, caring and timely manner.

The person

1. Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc.

(a) Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition:

(i) Have completed second level education to Junior Certificatestandard

And

(ii) Have a minimum of 1 year working in the catering/hospitality/healthcare industry with experience in catering for large numbers in a busy environment within the last five years

And

(b) Candidates must have the personal competence and capacity to properly
discharge the duties of the role.
