Catering Attendant

The Catering Department in the Hospital orders, prepares, cooks and serves meals and snacks to residents, hospital staff, catering facilities on site and in house functions as required.

The hours of work for all services will/can include:

· Weekend Work

· Unsocial Hours

· Shift work

The post holder will report to the Catering Officer/ Chef 1 or Designated person.

To prepare and deliver a high standard of food catering service to hospital patients, staff and visitors as outlined above at the required time in accordance with the Hospital and Statutory Standards, HACCP, and Food Hygiene Regulations.

To provide appetising meals that are nutritious and wholesome and that meet the needs and requirements of hospital patients, staff and visitors.
