We are currently recruiting for a Chef Manager to join our team based in Leprino - Glanbia Cheese Factory, Magheralin. This is a great opportunity to join a world leading facilities management company.
Working Pattern:
- 37.5 Hours per Week
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00am - 2:30pm
- 28 days’ paid holidays (pro rata)

- Operating a busy kitchen focusing on tasty, well-balanced, nutritious meals catering for all dietary requirements.
- Prepare and serve food to a high standard in line with company standards
- Updating food safety records
- To ensure all areas are clean and tidy in accordance with company and legislation standards
- To ensure minimum wastage
- Ensure professional image within personal Grooming and Hygiene standards at all times.
- Ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services to the client organisation in accordance with the agreement of the contract.
- To ensure we offer a high level of Customer Service in line with Mount Charles professional standards
- To ensure company policies relating to Sales handling, stock control and stock ordering are implemented and monitored, taking appropriate action to resolve problems
- To maintain effective communication with all other departments including, head office and the client.
- Organising rotas, stocktaking and ordering
- Ensuring all HACCP, Food Safety, and Health & Safety Legislation requirements are always adhered to.
- Attention to detail in all aspects of the work.
- Leads by example and lives our values.
- Must have a minimum of one year's experience managing a small team.
- Enthusiastic and passionate about our customer service and reputation.
- Self-motivated, working independently and on own initiative.
- Flexible with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
- Ability to ensure a safe environment is maintained in compliance with health, safety, fire, hygiene, and security legislation and company policies and procedures.
- Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis. The post also requires proficient skills in computer literacy.
