Cath Lab Clinical Specialist

Alliance Medical is currently recruiting for an experienced Cath Lab Clinical Specialist, for our new site at Ballysimon, Limerick. This role will involve active participation in the provision of a high-quality, effective and efficient imaging service. The successful candidate will have excellent technical ability and communication skills, both verbal and written.

The position of Clinical Specialist Radiographer requires an ability to lead, guide and supervise Radiographic staff in the Cath Lab Department and to successfully manage service delivery on a day to day basis. An ability to manage in a rapidly changing environment and a willingness to undertake such additional duties may be assigned from time to time.

While carrying out the duties appropriate to a Radiographer in the Radiology department, maintenance of professional competence in other areas of the department is necessary as there will be a necessity for the post holder to rotate through other areas in the department.

Key Requirements:

• CORU Registration
• Ability to lead and guide a team
• Recognised Post Grad Qualification in Cath Lab or,
• 4+ Years Experience in Cath Lab in a large hospital setting
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Flexibility & Adaptability
• Commitment and understanding the importance of quality and safety
