Join us a Change & Organisational Development (OD) Specialist
The Change & OD Specialist is responsible for supporting and enabling the business partnering and change functions within the team, with a particular focus on supporting the organisation’s transformation to enterprise agile ways of working. This role reports to the Head of People Experience & OD. This role involves developing adaptive frameworks and tools that facilitate the design, delivery, and embedding of people, organisational, and agile change. The Change & OD Specialist will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure a consistent and aligned approach to both traditional and agile change initiatives, helping build an agile mindset and embedding new ways of working across the business.
What else it involves
- Maintain and continuously improve frameworks and toolkits that enable the organisation to effectively deliver and embed people, organisational, and agile change.
- Support the planning, coordination, reporting, and delivery of business change projects and agile transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment to enterprise-wide aims.
- Track, monitor, and report on all organisational design, people change, and agile change activities, ensuring they are coordinated and integrated with other key activities.
- Evaluate information and data to understand trends, identify areas for improvement, and provide insights that support continuous improvement and agile adoption.
- Research relevant people, change, and agile topics to support the development of people solutions with a focus on agile and continuous improvement.
- Build and manage relationships across the organisation that support and enable change, with a focus on embedding agile mindsets and practices.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders to drive positive 'one team' ways of working, encouraging cross-functional collaboration and iterative delivery.
- Identify gaps in processes, ways of working, and collateral, defining and delivering actions to drive improvements that support agile and business transformation.
- Direct and contribute to key projects (design, plan, implement, review) and support agile initiatives, ceremonies, and interventions as required.
- Prepare and deliver engaging presentations and updates for assigned projects and agile transformation initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops, retrospectives, and other collaborative sessions to support learning, reflection, and continuous improvement.
- Support the shift to agile ways of working by coaching teams and senior stakeholders, promoting agile values and behaviours, and enabling mindset shifts.
- Ensure a positive working atmosphere by embodying company values and helping to embed them into the team’s way of working.
- Support wider People team projects and priorities as required.
Skills & experience we're looking for
- Generalist HR experience and/or experience working on a broad range of complex organisational, people, and agile change programs.
- Knowledge of organisational design, change management, agile transformation, and agile change management practices, theories, and models.
- Experience supporting or delivering enterprise agile transformation initiatives (e.g. SAFe, LeSS, or other scaled agile frameworks).
- Strong stakeholder relationship management skills across all levels of the organisation, including coaching and influencing senior stakeholders and teams.
- Proven ability to work in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment, solving problems through collaboration and iterative delivery.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage varying priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong facilitation skills, with experience in delivering workshops, retrospectives, or other agile ceremonies (Nice to Have).
- Curious mindset with a focus on how ways of working can be improved and optimised.
- Proven ability to plan, implement, and review projects and deliver outcomes in iterative, fast-paced environments.
- Collaborative and adaptable team player with a high level of personal resilience and ability to remain effective in changing circumstances.
- Strong customer focus and employee experience mindset.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, able to engage and influence stakeholders effectively.
- Self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative, driving progress and outcomes.
Nice to have
- Experience in a people business partnering and/or organisational development role.
- Project management skills, including knowledge of agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Data-focused mindset and experience in using data to inform decisions and track success.
