Your Role:

The Enterprise Change function is challenged to ensure we are effective in the delivery of our changes, prioritise our resources and funding for value and protect our highest priority deliveries. Key to that work is the advancement of our approach and processes supporting change, supply and demand capacity management and ensuring we uplift our project management techniques and awareness in relation to change.

This is a fast-paced environment which will require you to manage multiple deliverables at any point in time, demonstrate an ability to think on your feet and react quickly to unexpected requests and tight timelines by management within the team. You will need to be well organised, with an eye for detail. On a typical day, your role could involve undertaking desk based analysis into Change issues and opportunities, supporting PPM system users with reporting requirements (capturing /collating), leading/participating in the preparation for the governance forums, capturing and managing minutes, maintaining register (RAID, action, decision etc.) and undertaking other ad hoc duties as required by management.

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Act as a focal point and Change ambassador for the team at all times, promoting our enhanced change practices and in support of Project managers.
  • Be extremely proficient with the team’s Change Management process and consistently look for enhancements within the process.
  • Support project PPM updates, and other relevant governance registers updates.
  • Support the review of Project Status Reports and contribute insights on contents. Tracking and reporting on Strategic Portfolio progress, resource allocation, benefits realisation, and deviations from agreed project plans.
  • Support Project manager in drafting governance packs, scheduling session, managing RAID logs, action, decision logs, recording minutes of meetings and other project delivery artefacts.
  • Develop content for meeting papers and packs for use by Senior Leadership or the Executive Committee
  • Be comfortable in an environment that is going through a significant amount of Change to enhance the maturity of how we govern Change across the Bank.
  • Engage in Change Team monthly or annual activities. After establishing adequate competency in this role person, it is to act as a stepping stone to management of small size project(s) with the guidance of PM or Sr. PM.
  • Ensure adherence to the Change Framework on all Material Change Projects and manage updates to the Framework as requested by the Senior Manager, Change PMO.
  • Familiarise yourself with key internal policies and procedures.
  • Build and maintain appropriate banking industry knowledge of common financial services Change concepts, practices, and procedures.

Requirements: 

  • Broad understanding of the Irish Banking sector and PTSB’s position within it.
  • Experience in a Project management/PMO/Change Management Office related role is desirable.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Powerpoint, Excel and Word) essential; experience of related systems JIRA & Confluence would be an advantage
  • Keen attention to detail with good organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to encourage collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Self-starter, with evidence of taking initiative and working to challenging timelines.

This is a permanent position based in PTSB's St.Stephens Green Dublin (Hybrid option available within the Republic Of Ireland Only)
